The Red Pesto Monti is known affectionately as the “Genoese pesto’s brother”.
The recipe is prepared with Italian basil, sunflower seed oil and first quality dried tomatoes.
The use of dried tomatoes gives a strong red color, making this pesto an ideal dressing for pasta or gnocchi, but it is also excellent spread on toasted bread.
